Cheek 2 Cheek gay and lesbian Ballroom & Latin Dance Club
A social dance group for the Gay and Lesbian community. Its aim is to provide a relaxed and friendly environment in which people could meet and dance together. Most partner dances are covered from Quickstep and Tango through to Salsa and West Coast Swing.
The group meets every Tuesday evening in Varndean School, Balfour Road, Brighton, BN1 6NP from 7:30 p.m. until about 10 p.m.
Beginners at 8:15pm/ Improvers at 7:30pm

For the first 45 minutes the improvers concentrate on a particular dance chosen every 5 weeks or so, rotating through ballroom, latin and jive and then the beginners spend the 45 minutes or so learning the basics in a number of dances.
After that, to end off the evening, we usually learn a sequence dance or do some general dancing.
