Allsorts Youth Project Supporting Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans or Unsure Youth Under 26

Allsorts is a project based in Brighton to support young people under 26 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or unsure (LGBTU) of their sexuality and/or gender.

Allsorts offers a weekly drop in on Tuesday evenings between 5.30pm and 8.30pm for those aged 16-25, TAG a twice-monthly under 15′s group, Male Matters – a young men’s support and social group for those aged 16-2,  No Dress Code, a young women’s social & support group for those aged 16-25 and Transformers for those who identify as trans or are questioning their gender (aged 16-25).

Allsorts also offers telephone, email and one to one support. The service runs also runs workshops, a volunteer programme and ‘Young People’s Voice’ an LGBT forum. Homophobia awareness workshops are offered to schools, colleges and youth projects, as well as training courses around homophobia and transphobia.

Allsorts Youth Project supports and empowers Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Trans and Unsure Young People, raises awareness of homophobia and heterosexism and challenges prejudice and discrimination in all areas of young people’s lives.
